Lawrence Hall of Science is a public science center for preschool through high school students, with changing exhibits, a hands-on biology lab, and regular planetarium shows. It is located on the University of California Berkeley campus, north of the Botanical Gardens. The center was established in 1968, with the University of California Berkeley in honor of their first Nobel laureate, Ernest O. Lawrence.
Open daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Adults $11; Students (7 - 18), Seniors (62+), and Disabled $9; Children (ages 3-6) $6; Children under 3 are free. Planetarium: Adults $3; Children (18 and under) $2.50.
