Using archaeological evidence and findings to explore religious and biblical history, the Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology takes a unique look into the society and traditions of ancient Israel. Its collections include items dating back to the Early Bronze Age (beginning in 3,100 BCE) and through the early years of the common era, including tools, farming items, everyday objects like bowls, Mesopotamian cuneiform tablets and hundreds of bibles. The museum is on the campus of the Pacific School of Religion, just blocks from the University of California-Berkeley and its Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive.
Open Tue. and Thurs. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and by appointment.
Free.
